Greenspace Alliance of Canada's CapitalHello friends of greenspace,
Please find attached “Equinox Field Notes from Spring Branch” and a photograph, which goes with the story. [The pdf for story is about 51 kb, and for the image 97 kb)
Since March 20, the day of the Equinox this year, there have been all kinds of temperature ranges in the Potomac River region. Some have been record highs and record lows. One week Spring; then Winter; then Summer hot humidity, and so on. This kind of peaking and falling is a tradition in the mid-Atlantic states region, where North Wind and South Wind meet. But naturalists and weather-climate observers are noting that the ranges of peaks and falls seem to be growing wider and more capricious.
Days of beauty and healthful relations in the land are enjoyed as they happen.
Best wishes for the Spring Season in North Land Places of our Earth home.
