Greenspace Alliance of Canada's Capital

The Friends of the Greenspace Alliance will participate in the Rare and Unusual Plant Sale, Mothers' Day, May 10, 9am - 1 pm at the Experimental Farm. We are asking for donations of garden perennials to sell at our booth. The easiest way for you, the donors, to get them to us is the following:

1. Dig up the whole plant, or divide it.

2. Put the whole thing, earth and all, in a plastic bag.

3. Pour in some water (very important!), loosely tie the bag

4. Label the bag - we need the plants identified, especially when they are small. It also helps to know the COLOUR of the flower. Our customers are particular!

5. Call or email Janice Seline, janiceseline@yahoo.ca or 613 232 3818 (daytime). Leave a message if there is no answer - I will get back to you. I will pick up the plants, or you can drop them off to me.

The Friends appreciate all the help you can give. If you would like to participate by helping out the day of the sale, please let Janice know. This is the first plant sale of the season and it's usually very well-attended.
